Here’s Who Will Pay For Trump’s Wall If Mexico Isn’t

A good portion of the mainstream media spends the day seeking out ‘a-ha’ moments to portray President-elect Donald Trump in a negative light. A similar tact was taken throughout the presidential election cycle, but it had a negligible effect. Trump was elected in one of the biggest upsets in political history, but that hasn’t stopped portions of the media from beating the drum that he is somehow nefarious - as is anyone that dares to support him.

As CNBC reports, the media is at it yet again, and this time the target is the Mexico border wall that Trump made mention of hundreds of times during the election. The media is portraying it as if Trump is going back on promises by putting plans in motion to foot the bill for the wall, and then seek reimbursement from Mexico. Trump sees things differently, and he took to Twitter to express his angst.

"Dishonest media says Mexico won't be paying for the wall if they pay a little later so the wall can be built more quickly. Media is fake!" he wrote.

Whether the media is fake or not is a whole different kettle of fish, but it continues to be unclear exactly why the media is so hell bent on attempting to bury Trump at every turn. The voters have spoken, and a recurring theme is that the majority of them are pretty fed up with being told what to think. Perhaps the media will begin taking that message to heart, or the only ones reading their spin and watching its programs will be the members of its own fraternity.
