A Father Read His Daughter's Diary - What He Found Made Him Call The Police

Just a few weeks ago, a worried dad from Maryland dug around and found his daughter’s diary and decided to read it.

He was stunned to find his daughter’s diary included a step-by-step plan for how to attack her school. Her detailed plan even included the school’s projected emergency response schedule, so the teen even knew when police and firefighters would be arriving.

When her dad read the date she planned to attack the school – April 5th -- he did not hesitate. He called the school, who notified law enforcement authorities.

The story gets even stranger as it turns out 18-year-old Nichole Cevario was an honor roll student, but it seems she hated everyone and everything at the school. Her plan was for a mass killing at Catoctin High School in Frederick County, Maryland.

The deranged teenager was immediately removed from class by school police

Frederick County Public Schools put out a press release:

“We received word that one of our students, outside of school, possibly made threats concerning our school. We took action immediately together with our law enforcement partners to remove the student and investigate. The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office, in cooperation with FCPS, is still investigating the circumstances. Please be assured that no one at our school was harmed or directly threatened, and there were no weapons at our school.”

One scary detail that emerged later is that Cevario had several detailed interviews with the school’s resource manager as a reporter, so she knew how school authorities were going to react to her guns and weapons on campus.

Another chilling detail in her diary was that Cevario even planned to die during the attack, which was planned for April 5th.

In a presser, Frederick County Police Chief Chuck Jenkins noted that the disturbed girl began planning her mass murder scheme several month ago. He also noted she had worked out all the details to ensure as many deaths as possible.

“The evidence that we got from her home revealed that she was taking steps, active steps, acquiring the materials, including the purchase of a shotgun, the construction of pipe bombs and other explosives,” Jenkins commented.

Jenkins says he is very grateful the father reported her plans and stopped the girl.
