Charles Manson Is Being Transferred - Here’s What We Know

It’s been quite a while since mass murderer Charles Manson has seen anything outside of the prison walls of Corcoran State Prison in the state of California, but that’s changed due to a ‘serious’ illness. As the Los Angeles Times reports, Manson has been transported to an undisclosed hospital for treatment.

Manson, 82, has been behind bars since 1971 for his role in a horrific mass murder spree that took the lives of actress Sharon Tate and six other people over the course of two brutal nights in 1969 on the outskirts of Los Angeles. Manson and his ‘family’ were reportedly inspired by lyrics from the Beatles tune ‘Helter Skelter.’

He’s been denied parole numerous times, but his next crack on things is slated to happen in 2027. Beyond the fact that he should never be allowed to see the light of day as a free man again, Manson also has a significant rap sheet for his time behind bars standing in his way, and he has reportedly violated prison rules ‘hundreds’ of times.

No word on what’s ailing the deranged man, but the local media is in a frenzy trying to figure out which hospital he’s currently staying at.
