Egg shells are actually chock full of calcium, so you knew it would just be a matter of time before someone figured out how to extract. Before you go ahead and munch down on a big plate of shells while thinking you’re ahead of the curve, you’ll want to check out the detailed instructions on how to prepare them correctly.

In short, once the shells are carefully prepared according to instructions, they can be ground down into a powder via a food processor. From that point, you can craft yourself an egg shell cocktail or smoothie, or even use the powder to mix in with things such as oatmeal or yogurt.
