The thyroid is one of those things in our bodies that we don’t pay too much attention to unless there’s something wrong with it. When there is, our attention will quickly be drawn to the nagging symptoms that can be a result of those problems.
As Remedy Daily shares, one of those problems is a disease known as hypothyroidism, and it doesn’t sound like it’s very pleasant at all. It’s caused by the thyroid gland producing too little hormone, and it can manifest itself through a bunch of different symptoms, including muscle cramps, fatigue, constipation, and general weakness.
Thankfully, there’s a home remedy that can give sufferers a little relief. There’s a simple home-brew tea that can be concocted with a few simple ingredients. The recipe calls for water, Ceylon cinnamon, dry ginger, nutmeg and cranberry juice. Simply follow the directions in the precise measurements, let it steep for 20 minutes, and top it off with 3/4 tablespoon orange juice and 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice.
The tea can be sipped at your leisure, and it’s said to boost both your metabolism and immune system while providing you with some vitamins.
