Do You Think Demi Lovato’s Sheer Dress Was Appropriate For The Grammy’s?

In addition to seeing who takes home the top prizes, part of the general fascination with awards shows stems from the whole red carpet-type atmosphere that they inspire. Specifically, what the celebs are wearing and how they look tends to provide some of the more newsworthy items for the whole evening, and a quick glance at social media while a show is going on provides plenty of evidence for that. This year’s Grammy Awards were no different, and one young female artist knocked it out of the park on the attention grabbing front.

As the Daily Mail reports, Demi Lovato turned some serious heads in a stunning gown that showed off her ‘sexy side.’ The gown was a nude-colored number from renowned designer Julien Macdonald that managed to accomplish that mission quite easily. As you’ll see in the photos, the attractive starlet turned plenty of heads. It was a big night for Lovato overall as she had snagged a Best Pop Vocal Album nomination for Confident. Adele walked away with that award - and many others - as she proved to the night’s biggest winner. Regardless, a nomination in itself is a big deal, and Lovato acknowledged the dedication she put forth into making the album stand out.

“I knew that going into it too. When I was making the album I wanted it to be something that embraced all I had been through,” she said, adding that part of the album’s goal was “Going for a more soulful vibe rather than just focusing on pop.”

All in all, the 58th Annual Grammy Awards was a big hit, as there were scores of memorable performances that really got people talking and buzzing. As for Lovato, the night has to be considered a huge success. The 24-year-old star has already assembled an impressive resume, and it’ll be interesting to see what lays ahead in the future.
